It's funny how everytime the Republicans in Washington(DC) propose legislation to make cuts in federal spending the Democrats raise a stink, claiming our country cannot afford these cuts. At the same time the U.S. federal goverment manages to squander billions in American taxpayer dollars every year, doing so with impugnity because there has been and continues to be zero accountability and effective bookkeeping to track where this money actually goes.
